 Have a question about Selling - Buying - or Shipping a Firearm?
We know this can be very complicated.
So, here is our suggestion.

  • Once you and the buyer-or-seller reach an agreement to do the transaction.....
  • As a seller, make sure you have received payment from the buyer.
  • Email the buyer the EXACT Make, Model & Serial Number for the firearm.
  • Buyer contacts a gun dealer in their town with a FFL.
  • Seller contacts a gun dealer in their town with an FFL.
  • Explain that you are buying/selling a firearm from a private individual.

  • Gun Dealer in the Buyers town does the background check.
  • When approved, the Dealer will fax the paperwork to the dealer in the Sellers town.
  • Seller retrieves the paper work from their dealer and can now ship the firearm.

NOTE: Most Gun Dealers will do this for a fee of $10 or less.
